Business lead generation software: five product types, one label
The same phrase covers products ranging from free browser extensions to enterprise subscriptions. They are not competitors and comparing them by price is meaningless.

What counts as business lead generation software?
Lead Finder sits in one of five product types that share this label while solving different problems at wildly different prices. Contact databases sell subscription access to firmographic and contact records. Extraction tools collect public data from a specific source such as a mapping platform. Enrichment services add attributes to a list you already hold. Outreach platforms sequence and send at volume. Intent providers infer which companies are researching a topic. A browser extension may cost nothing and an enterprise database many thousands a year, and comparing them on price implies a competition that does not exist. The useful question is which stage of your process is actually weakest, because that determines which of the five you need.
What each type actually sells
Databases sell coverage and attributes: who exists, how big, who works there. Extraction tools sell coverage of a specific public source, typically deeper on small businesses and shallower on firmographics. Enrichment sells the join between a list and additional data.
Outreach platforms sell throughput and sequencing rather than data, and intent providers sell a signal about timing. Two of the five contain no company data at all, which is the clearest sign they are not substitutes for the other three.
Price differences are structural
Subscription databases carry the cost of continuously assembling and verifying records across millions of companies, which is why they are expensive and why their coverage of very small businesses is thin: the cost per record cannot be justified for a sole trader.
Extraction tools carry almost no data cost, since the data is public and collected on demand, which is why they are inexpensive and why they cover small businesses well. The price difference reflects different cost structures rather than different quality.
Diagnosing which one you need
If you cannot produce a complete list of target companies, the gap is sourcing, and a database or an extractor fixes it depending on how those companies are identified. If you have the list but not the right contacts, the gap is enrichment.
If you have both and outcomes are still poor, the gap is message or timing rather than data, and buying more data makes it worse by adding volume to a motion that is not converting. That diagnosis is uncomfortable and is the most common real answer.

Quotes come from licence holders who agreed to be credited in this form, given on WhatsApp or by email, and trimmed only for length. The rating is the average of all 110 on file, not of the 5 shown here, and it is computed from them rather than entered by hand, so it cannot be set independently of the reviews behind it.
